My blog, Sharon the Librarian, is mainly book reviews. The genre's of the books I review range from picture books to romance, though I tend to focus on middle grade, YA, and adult books with a paranomal bent however I am open to a variety of subjects. My daughter and I wrote Thin Wire: A mother's journey through her daughter's heroin addiction together. I think it will really help parents to understand why teens are drawn in to taking drugs. It's an emotional page turner. I'm very new to indie publishing and released this on kdp in July. I understand it may not be your usual genre. The book is my true, inspirational story of healing from childhood sexual abuse and it was written to let others know that they are not alone, healing is available and to educate people as a means of stemming the tide against abuse.
I do not profit from this book in any way; all the money I earn from my books goes back into a ministry I have established to help those suffering from abuse. I also donate a large number of books a year to those in need - jails, support groups, etc.
So the more I can get the word out, the more I can potentially help to start on their healing journeys which is why I am exploring different avenues on WLC. If you don't feel this book is a fit for you, no worries - just thought I'd try.
