ShareThisI"m networking to get my book, The Persecution of Mildred Dunlap, out there. The story takes place in 1895, a small Nevada ranching town, just after the imprisonment of Oscar Wilde. When the news of his imprisonment (for having sex with his lover) is sent out over telegraph lines it throws a town, and a lesbian couple in particlular, into chaos. This is a chronicle of hatred and prejudice with all its unintended and devastating consequences and how love and friendship heal. It has gotten many 5* reviews on amazon, been written up one of the largest circulating nursing magazine in the U.S. for its human rights aspect, and was featured as the book of the month for July, 2012 by the Literary Branch of The Ojai Art Center, and was featured as an important read in the Lavender Living Room Newsletter, the largest circulating newsletter to lesbians in So. California. Please contact me if interested and I'll get a book or pdf to you, The kindle version is also free for Prime Amazon members through July 24. I'd love to have my novel featured on your blog, have an interview done, or work with you in any way you'd like to help me promote this important novel.
